Im using barbed trap, troll ungent, favorable winds, dark bond, pin down, distracting shot, hunters shot, and lightening reflexes. But I want to know which skills I should have set for a trap ranger necro. More like what are the best necro skills for a trap ranger.

Energizing wind is NOT a must.
High Expertise and Wilderness Survival is a must.
Serpent's Quickness is a must for faster recharge by 33% for more traps for more damage, UNLIKE Energizing Wind which SLOWS your recharge timers.
For necro Skills I'd go with Plague Sending/Touch or Strip Enchantment or maybe Soul Feast for a nice self heal/corpse denial.

The way I see it is: trappers are anti-warrior and ranger.
My build is:
R/*
Everything into exp. and wilderness.
Barbed trap
Flame trap
dust trap
throw dirt
whilring def.
oath shot {E}
troll unguent
rez sig.
Throw up whirling, go in throw dirt at the warriors, dust trap for warrior trains, barbed trap to slow down any running casters or warriors, flame trap for dmg and on fire condition. Use oath shot and repeat as needed.
Oh, for weapons i use a staff that gives +10 energy(doesnt matter if you get the other bonuses or not) as my primary, and on my secondary I use a short bow to use oath shot.

the best trapper is ranger/mesmer, using 4 traps mantra of resolve, stormchaser, res sig and choice of other, max out expert and wildernesss and put rest in mantra.
mantra makes it so you dont get interupted, throw up dust trap first so you wont need mantra for a good 20 seconds after that, if you run low on energy and your facing ele damage then throw up stormchaser to recover energy, maxed expertiose makes it so you dotn need alkot of enegry to constantly put down traps, you should be able to at all times. The 8th skill i usually pick is dodge, mainly because it allows me to combine with stormchaser to make in indefinite speed boost which is used on relic runs, 2 trappers, one traps the home relic while the other runs the foes relic back, they then switch when the relics just about brought back. Anyways I knwo you want a Ranger/Necro trapper but this trapper is by far way better and I figured youd want to know.
